Deeply engaged with his local community, Thor co-founded the Rogue Valley AI Lab (RV/AI). This burgeoning hub fosters a vibrant network of AI practitioners, enthusiasts, and curious minds through open, bi-weekly sessions. In partnership with Southern Oregon University (SOU) and Scienceworks, RV/AI strives to integrate AI into the region in ways that champion health and wellbeing, offering pathways for learning, employment, independent research, and the creation of generative AI-powered businesses.

Thor is also the co-author of the New York Times bestseller, "Get Lucky: How to Put Planned Serendipity to Work for You and Your Business." This insightful work explores the skill of "discovering things that you didn't know you were looking for" and highlights its crucial role in driving creative endeavors. Drawing upon his extensive experience as an entrepreneur and creative, "Get Lucky" presents eight actionable methods for cultivating serendipity in work, art, and play.

With a proven track record as a founder, advisor, and builder of numerous impactful companies, Thor's past ventures include Get Satisfaction, a pioneering customer service platform, and Zola Electric, a company that has brought renewable energy and light to countless lives across Africa.

His current areas of expertise encompass venture building, AI solution architecture, product strategy, and the vital work of local community regeneration.
